On November 11, the latest statistics of Essential Science Indicator (ESI) of Kerui Wei’an showed that the engineering discipline of the school entered the top 1% of ESI for the first time, becoming the first discipline of the school to rank among the top 1% of ESI in the world, which indicates that the engineering discipline of our school has entered the ranks of international high-level disciplines.

Within the statistical range of ESI data (from January 2011 to August 2021), HYIT published 479 SCI papers in engineering discipline, with a total of 3302 citations. an average of 6.89 citations and 7 top papers.

In recent years, the school attaches great importance to discipline construction, further promotes the construction of “246x” first-class disciplines, focusing on applied disciplines, centering on emerging industries, closely combining regional advantages, characteristic resources and leading industries and serving the needs of regional economic and social development and historical and cultural inheritance.
