Recently, the Provincial Language Commission Office and the Provincial Education Department Office jointly published the award results of the Chinese Classics Recitation, Writing and Speaking Activities in 2020. Five groups of recitation works selected by our school won 1 first prize, 1 second prize and 2 third prizes.
In June and July, according to requirements, the school actively overcame the impact of the pandemic, innovated its work style, and carried out the in-school Chinese Classics Recitation Contest and selected five pieces to run for the provincial contest. After selection, “To the Oak Tree” won the first prize, “A Panegyric of the Yueyang Tower” won the second prize, “The Old man and the Sea”and “We Love You, China” won the third prize.
The contest aims to interpret the cultural connotation of excellent Chinese works and reveal the charm of Chinese language and culture, and carry forward the Chinese spirit. With the thematic concern to “inherit excellent Chinese culture and eulogize the great spirit of the age” , it eulogizes the socialist modernization progress and has created a good atmosphere to build a well-off society in an all-round way by a variety of activities including reading, interpretation, writing, seal cutting and so on.
