Article 2 These measures are applicable to full-time Master's students studying in China with professional degrees. The categories of professional degrees awarded shall be granted according to the professional fields approved by the state.

Article 3 abide by the laws and regulations of the people's Republic of China and the discipline and rules of our university, know Hua Youhua and have good conduct; According to the requirements of the training program, those who have completed the specified credits and compulsory links and passed the dissertation defense can apply to the degree evaluation committee of the University for corresponding degrees in accordance with these measures.

Article 4 academic level requirements for academic degrees

1. In the professional field of applying for a degree, I have mastered solid basic theory and broad expertise, as well as advanced technical methods or modern technical means to solve practical problems.

2. Have the ability to engage in scientific research or independently undertake specialized technical work.

Article 5 course requirements for degree

The applicant shall complete the courses specified in the training program and obtain corresponding credits within the learning years specified by the school; Must pass hsk5 berore

graduation; The course examination shall not be repeated more than two times.

Article 6 requirements for dissertation

1. The topic of the dissertation should come from the practical problems in engineering practice, with clear engineering background and application value.

2. The form of dissertation can be applied basic research or applied research thesis, technology (product) development report, process design, research report, etc.

3. The dissertation shall be completed independently under the guidance of the tutor. For a thesis, work, invention, discovery, etc. completed in cooperation with others, the part that is really completed independently by myself can be sorted into a degree thesis by myself, but it must be attached with a letter of proof from other authors of the thesis, work, or written opinions signed by the host.

4. The format of the dissertation shall comply with the relevant regulations of the University.

5. Before the commencement of the dissertation work, it shall reply through the opening report organized by the discipline point; The graduate school shall organize the mid-term inspection of the dissertation; The discipline point shall organize the pre defense before the defense of the dissertation.

Article 7 evaluation of Dissertation

1. The dissertation shall be reviewed by two peer experts with senior professional titles hired by the college where the applicant is located. Dissertation reviewers should have a strong sense of responsibility, a decent style of study, and have deep academic attainments in corresponding disciplines. The applicant's tutor cannot be a dissertation reviewer. The university will select a certain proportion of dissertations for blind review, and the dissertations completed under the guidance of newly appointed tutors must be subject to blind review.

2. The dissertation shall be submitted to the reviewer one month before the defense. If one reviewer holds a negative opinion during the evaluation process, an additional reviewer may be employed. If two reviewers (including the additional reviewers) hold a negative opinion, the applicant's application is invalid. The applicant can modify the dissertation according to the evaluation opinions and apply for defense again within 3-6 months (not exceeding the learning period).

3. The reviewer shall evaluate the dissertation according to the evaluation standard and give detailed academic comments for the reference of the Defense Committee.

Article 8 dissertation defense

1. Composition of the defence committee

The defense committee is composed of five peer experts with senior professional titles selected by the degree evaluation sub committee of the Secondary College (hereinafter referred to as the "Sub Committee"), including at least one off campus expert and one enterprise expert, and the applicant's mentor cannot be a member of the Defense Committee. More than 2 / 3 of the members of the defense committee shall have the qualification of master supervisor. The defense committee shall have a chairman elected by the members of the Defense Committee. The sub committee shall appoint a teacher with a strong sense of responsibility and with a professional title of vice senior or above or a doctor's degree as the Secretary of the defense committee, and the Secretary has no voting right.

2. After the establishment of the defense committee, it is generally not allowed to change at will. If any member is unable to participate for some reason, it shall report to the sub committee in advance to change the members or change the defense time.

3. Requirements for defense

(1) The defense work shall be completed within half a year after the applicant submits the dissertation.

(2) The dissertation shall be delivered to all members of the Defense Committee for review one week before the defense.

(3) The oral defense meeting should fully carry forward academic democracy and be held in an open manner in accordance with the principle of "adhering to standards, strict requirements, ensuring quality, fairness and rationality".

(4) The questions raised by the members of the Defense Committee at the defense meeting shall be kept strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to the applicant in advance, otherwise the defense will be invalid.

4. Defence proceedings

(1) The chairman of the defense committee announces the list of members of the Defense Committee and the name, major, title of dissertation and other matters of the applicant for thesis defense.

(2) The applicant shall report the main content of the dissertation (30 minutes).

(3) Questions raised by members of the Defense Committee and the applicant's defense (30 minutes). With the consent of the chairman of the defense committee, other participants may also ask questions about the fields involved in the dissertation and invite the applicant to answer.

(4) Comments of the Defense Committee. The secretary read out the comments of the tutor and reviewer on the dissertation, and the Defense Committee discussed the defense and agreed on the defense comments of the dissertation.

(5) Resolution of the Defense Committee. The defense committee shall make a resolution on whether to recommend the award of a master's degree according to the defense. The resolution shall be adopted by secret ballot with the consent of 2 / 3 or more of all members of the Defense Committee. The resolution shall be submitted to the Subcommittee after being signed by the chairman of the Defense Committee. If the dissertation fails to pass the oral defense, the dissertation may be revised within one year (not exceeding the study period) and the oral defense shall be conducted again with the consent of the oral defense committee.

(6) The chairman of the Defense Committee announced the resolution to the applicant.

5. The Secretary shall record the whole process of the reply, and submit the records of the main questions raised during the reply, the answers and the resolutions of the reply committee to the chairman of the reply Committee for signature.

Article 9 degree evaluation and award

1. The sub committee shall conduct a comprehensive examination of the applicant according to the requirements of these measures and make a decision on whether to recommend the award of a master's degree. The resolution shall be adopted by secret ballot with the consent of 2 / 3 or more of all sub committee members. If the Defense Committee recommends not to grant the master's degree, the sub committee will not vote in principle and directly make a resolution not to grant the master's degree. After the resolution is signed by the chairman of the sub committee, it shall be submitted to the university degree evaluation committee.

2. The academic degree evaluation committee of the University shall examine and approve the person recommended by the sub committee to grant the degree and make a decision on whether to grant the master's professional degree. The resolution shall be adopted by secret ballot. With the consent of more than 1 / 2 (excluding 1 / 2) of all committee members, the resolution of "granting master's professional degree" shall be made. Otherwise, the resolution of "not granting master's professional degree" shall be made.

3. A master's degree shall not be awarded under any of the following circumstances:

(1) Those who commit serious mistakes in ideology and morality and persist in not changing;

(2) Those who have received a demerit or above from the school and have not been revoked;

(3) Those who do not meet the relevant provisions and requirements of these measures in business;

(4) Those who have seriously violated the academic ethics and code of conduct stipulated by the University and relevant departments.

4. A master's degree can be awarded if he has recognized outstanding performance after demerit recording or above punishment and is reviewed and approved by the degree evaluation committee of the University. Recognized outstanding performance mainly includes:

(1) Obtain the admission qualification of doctoral students (subject to the admission notice);

(2) Participate in and win the second prize and above of municipal competition, the third prize and above of provincial competition, and the excellence prize and above of national competition as a major member of an individual or group;

(3) Other recognized outstanding performance.

Article 10 after being reviewed and approved by the academic degree evaluation committee of the University, the list of master's professional degrees granted shall be publicized for one week. Those who have no objection and relevant materials shall be reported to the office of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council for the record. The effective date of the degree certificate is the date when the university degree evaluation committee makes the decision to grant the degree.

Article 11 if it is found that the degree awarded violates the relevant provisions and norms of academic ethics, the degree awarded may be revoked according to the circumstances after reconsideration by the university degree evaluation committee.

Article 12 these Measures shall come into force as of the date of promulgation, and the power of interpretation shall be vested in the office of the academic degree evaluation committee of the University.
